My kids wanted me to read this, one of several sequels to Hatchet. One kid wasn't too thrilled with the ending of Hatchet, so this book gave an extended alternate ending. It went over well here. Personally, I thought it read more like fanfic, but whatever. Still interesting and I'm glad I'm not out trying to survive in the Canadian wilderness in the winter. Or ever
