I thought this was very good at creating the tense atmosphere and the gradual signs of this isn't right until it was very suddenly very definitely not alright with
the whole poisoning yourself to 'save' your made up girlfriend


I didn't expect it to be quite so directly eugenicsy but maybe I should have and I thought it was a good aspect of the story

I do have to say that I wish I'd known this was going to have a sequel before I started reading though which again is on me but overall I thought it was very good and had me pretty hooked
