Friends to fake married to lovers?? Yes please! This is the most serious of the If Shakespeare were an Auntie books by Nisha Sharma. Filled with the most heartbreaking family drama and disappointment. Deepak and Veera are still couple goals though. I absolutely adore the window into South Asian culture these books give me. These two characters are both a little damaged by their families, but they overcome the power struggles with grace. The spicy scenes were *fans self hot 🥵. I absolutely adore this trilogy. Laugh out loud funny and full of heart! Highly recommend all 3!
