The beautiful cover really drew me in, unfortunately, the story itself was disappointing.
I saw some reviews that liked the Bridgerton vibe of this, but I didn’t enjoy it, some parts just felt kind of uninspired.
And the more I read the messier the plot got (how can no one have noticed that the kingdom is basically bankrupt?)
In the end nothing was really resolved and I was glad to be done with it (after 10 days, which tells you how much I struggled to finish it).
