Paco Roca is an incredible storyteller through words and art. I came across his books accidentally and am enthralled. In fact, I already have another book by him for my next read. In Los Surcos del Azar (Twists of Fate), it tells the story of WWII through the eyes of Spanish soldier, Miguel Ruiz, who reflects back in an interview with the author. Although I studied WWII history in college, I never imagined being interested in a graphic novel about it. Thank you to Fantagraphics Books for broadening my perspective
