blizzardwizard730 's review for:
Dragons of Autumn Twilight
by Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman
It's an ok fantasy, the characters are kind of cool, but everything that happens just feels sort of random, and no one's actions or motives mean anything. Death is essentially meaningless and I just finished the book and probably couldn't say who the villain was or why they were doing what they were doing.
I read a review stating that this was just someone's DnD campaign written out and that couldn't be more accurate. People's behaviors and actions change to serve the story and to keep the plot going. Tonally it's all over the place and more and more characters keep getting introduced pretty needlessly. Again I thought the characters were pretty cool, especially Raistlin.
