The Boy in the Moon: A Father's Search for His Disabled Son by Ian Brown

4.0

Loving but not sentimental, sad but not bitter or self-pitying, hopeful without being unrealistic. I don't know if it helps to be a writer, with the ability to articulate the experience of having a non-verbal, severely disabled child requiring constant care. It probably doesn't, much. It certainly makes for an affecting read, though.
