A Day of Fallen Night

First and foremost, I love this series. It's what got me back into reading, and there's clearly a wealth of history and opportunities for more rich stories to be told.
My only gripe is that no matter what order you read this and The Priory of the Orange Tree, either will contain major spoilers for the other.
Having read Priory first, it was immediately clear who Canthe was and her motivations which made it difficult to buy into the story involving her.
Even despite that, I think the writing here is even better than Priory though I preferred the story of Priory more. Both fantastic, must-reads in different ways.
