Epic Air Fryer Cookbook: 100 Inspired Recipes That Take Air-Frying in Deliciously Exciting New Directions by Emily Paster

4.0

I have been considering purchasing an air fryer, but I was not sure if the investment was worth it and what I could make with it. The cookbook starts off with information on how to use an air fryer, the different kinds, and how to care for it, which is helpful as I mentioned I have been considering getting one. The cookbook then includes 100 recipes for breakfast, snacks, main courses, sides, and desserts. Since I am a vegetarian, I am happy that there are many recipes that are vegetarian and there is even a dedicated chapter for vegetarian main courses. There are also plenty of recipes with meat as well as a chapter on main courses with meat and seafood.
I love the layout of the cookbook, and the recipes are easy to follow. However, one of my main problems is that there are not enough photos of the recipes. At most one-third of the recipes have a photo, and it would be helpful to see photos for all the recipes as some I have never heard of before like the Gougêres, the Twice-Cooked Tostones, and the Gulab Jamun or I am curious how they would like after being air-fried like the Cauliflower Steaks, the Kale and Mushroom Empanadas, and the Hush Puppies.
Overall, this is a great cookbook if you are looking for new and exciting recipes to make in an air fryer, but there are not enough photos of the recipes.
