I liked the book. It was cute, and very teenager-y. It was realistic to a real ninth grade experience. Definitely something most girls can agree with.
The story line was good, but nothing too interesting happened until the very end, I feel. And even then, it wasn't too big, and it wasn't really resolved, and that ending was such a surprise. But there was a lot of love, betrayal, and just humor. It was silly. And, most of all, it was just fun to read. Even if nothing big happened, I still thought it was good.
Then, there was the whole romance aspect. I didn't really feel the characters had any real connection with each other. Although, I did like each individually. They were all awkward and funny, and just coming into themselves, since they were only 14.
Overall, I enjoyed the book, and I will be reading the sequel.
