I was gifted this title by one of Ari's coworkers, so I wanted to give it a try, even if Evanovich's books have never caught my eye before. Well, I found this quite boring, perhaps because it's the 29th in the series about the bail bond enforcer Stephanie Plum. Maybe if I had more background, I'd be more invested in the characters and what they do. Furthermore, while I appreciated the attempts at humor, most of the jokes just didn't land for me. So, overall, not my cup of tea!
