Frat Girl by Kiley Roache
4.5

This book is one of my favorite books ever. I love the books about feminists, and although this book did at times go a little overboard with the stereotypes, it was an amazing read.
I have not gone to college yet and have very information about frat houses, and now that I look more into them I realized how archaic they can be, although not always. I consider myself a feminist, and because I go to a Catholic school, I have a lot of experience with patriarchy. A lot of reviews were saying things like she was not a great feminist because she still believes that sorority girls are superficial, but not everyone is perfect, and if she was, do you think she would be undercover in a frat house? There were some aspects that were unrealistic, but in the end it was a good book with a positive message. Also, if you do not want to read this book because it seems to be very stereotypical towards fraternities, it also has many sweet moments. Many of the boys in the frat begin to act like Cassie's older brothers and are very protective. Also, I loved Cassie's bisexual best friend Alex, and her gay friend Jay.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to any feminist, activist, or anyone still in school.
