This was a great volume!! There's lots of information in this one that's revealed through multiple timelines, so I took my time with this one so that I could absorb everything. I really like the direction that the story is going in and I'm glad that the story is starting to get more interesting.
Also, Hange is non-binary?? I didn't realize that until this volume, but I honestly love that.
A couple quick spoilery thoughts.
I love Gabi getting full on violent in this volume. It was funny, but she's also definitely a hypocrite with how she goes on and on about the "island devils" yet she's more of a devil than the people living on Paradis.
The only thing I disliked about this volume was Historia being pregnant. I hate the "last of the bloodline needs to birth children" trope. Historia is literally a lesbian queen yet she's being forced to have biological kids when it seems like she doesn't want that. It makes me so sad. And she couldn't have even chosen someone that's worthy of her? She chose a guy who threw rocks at her?? Historia better get a happy ending in this series.
