This one was also really good! I docked it points because I felt like some dialogue was awkward or unrealistic but I only thought that a few times and I can’t even remember exactly when that was. The other part that I didn’t realize until this book is that I wish there was more hockey, like I want to learn about moves and positions, I just read 2 books about a hockey town and I haven’t learned anything new about hockey.
I really liked the additions of Maya's song lyrics in this book, that was cool to read.
I love how Backman uses the future tense to kind of guide the reader’s thoughts without outright saying what’s going to happen. It’s like he subtly leads you to expect something without forcing it, and it feels really unique. I haven’t seen other authors do it quite like this, and I think it’s pretty cool!

Spoiler:
I wish Vidar was in the first book because I felt like I didn't really know him that well and him and Ana weren't even together for that long. So like yeah I felt bad for them, but also I wasn't deeply affected because I don't know him like that.
