I loved Prague, the writing, the atmosphere, it felt like I was there with Karou. I loved all the details, loved her relationship with Brimstone, the snake lady, and Zuzana.
What got me was the "world in bars" aspect, this book took the usual angels vs demons thing and made it more interesting.
Yea I didn’t like the aspect, but I spent the last 30% completely SCARED for these two, it was beautiful and exhilarating.
Am not too keen on starting the second book because... how do you follow?
The only reason this isn’t getting five stars is because I was quite confused at times.
