I read this book after seeing the TV series based on the book. I rarely do this, but there were enough questions raised by the series that I thought might be explored further in the book that I thought it was worth a try. Amazingly, the series stays pretty true to the book. There is the obligatory tinkering when transitioning from one medium to another, but overall I was very pleased with both. Knowing the outcome did not tarnish the quality of the story or storytelling at all. Looking forward to the next book (and Season 2)!
