The Smoke Thief
by Shana Abé
Series Review******
I accidently found this series and automatically fell in love with the first book. There was movement and romance (I was suprised by the romance bit, unbeknownst to me,my library mixes all of their fiction together) and a different spin on dragons that I couldn't get enough of. The second book held it's own and pulled you harder into the story line. The 3rd book - still the same. I have to admit that I am not a fan of loosing character I fell in love with , so as the story progresses book by book, I was a bit disheartened that the first book was the only time I saw Rue and Kit and for some odd reason they dissapeared completely. I also did not care for the last book in any way. It felt fake and forced, the ending was lacking like there was no heart left in writting it.
My advice, enjoy it where you can, becuse the concept is genuine and interesting but try not to get too attached.
