A Christmas Bride by Mary Balogh

4.0

I normally don't like Christmas-themed books. But this one is just wonderful. It ties in a lot of characters from previous books (most of which I haven't read). I'd recommend reading A Precious Jewel before this one (it was just reprinted) as two of the characters that appear in this one are significant. (But I didn't and it wasn't a problem, just made me wonder if there was a story about those two.) This book is pretty short, but the characters are so unusual and sharply drawn, their dialog is wonderful, I just love them both! Definitely worth the read.
