Review previously placed on my blog:

I have read The way past winter by Kiran Millwood Hargrave. I read this for Polarthon with the prompts: An adventure, A cold word and Foiled cover (sort of). I read a copy from the library and listened to the audiobook at the same time.

I read this in a day, because it was very short and I enjoy reading books in a day. Unfortunately I didn't super like this book. I don't fully know what it was. The characters were okay for me, but couldn't really connect with them. The story itself was also just okay, but it felt a bit random and vague. The ending was just not the best. I also remembered that I DNF'ed a book before by this author. I think she is just not for me. The writing isn't vibing with me.
