This book was quite beautiful. The poetry of the words brings the texture of Samoa and it's people to life for the reader. There are difficult themes around violence towards women. Colonialism is a big focus. The language was somewhat difficult to follow but overall added layers to the narratives. Beautiful portraits of a people.
