I found the 3 time spans intriguing. Imagining how Tut must have lived, how Howard Carter came to discover his tomb, and what the author (also narrator) thought about the way and motive for Tut's murder.
Even though it was quite easy to check details with historic facts, but I kept on reading through waiting for the next twist of events. What I didn't like was the conclusion Patterson made regarding the murderer/murderers motive for murdering him. It contradicted with the events drawn by the author through out the life of Tut.
