“Loyalty was a funny thing. So was love. They both bit you when you least expected it.”

Very disappointed with this book. I thought there would have been more romance and a better storyline than this. I like how each of the three girls have completely different personalities but that was it when it came to them. The storyline wasn't great. This book took me so long to read because it dragged so much. I really wish I could've loved this book but it wasn't my cup of tea.

Birdie had to be my favorite between the three of them. I liked how she was able to stand up for herself and go for what she wanted but I thought when that came it would be a big confrontation. It just happened in a few sentences and boom! Problem solved. If only that was how some cases worked. But Birdie was definitely the best character in this book.

Murphy would be the second best but I had a lot of problems with her. Why go for Rex? I honestly liked him in the beginning but after we get more from him you realize he's a baby. I was so excited for Murphy and Rex at first but then I just wanted him to go away. You love him? Please you don't know anything about him! I felt like Leeda and her were always competing with each other. It got really annoying after awhile.

Leeda is definitely the worst. Since the beginning, I never liked her. I don't know how to explain this correctly, but she was just annoying. I liked how her friendship with Murphy started but it was confusing with how close they got to Birdie. Cause one minute they both just wanna leave and the next second everyone is as close as they can be. It was just hard to see how things happened.

Everything seemed to just happen. I really didn't like this book and I am glad to say that I am finished! I don't think I will be continuing this series anytime soon because I'm done with this. Only reason why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 was because there were a few things I did like in this. Like the dogs, best dogs ever.
