I really really enjoyed the first book so I was very excited to start this one. Finally got a lot of lore break down! I was dying to know more about the cards, their creation, and the nightmare. There was a lot of character development in this one; I was surprised to go from hating Ione to really liking her. Even The Nightmare had a wonderful redemption arc. I’m glad that Hauth got what was coming because he really fckin pissed me off
