Much like King describes as his writing process of this epic, my reading of the series was long, full of questions, lots of wandering, and ultimately incredibly fufilling. I understand how this series could fall far from being many readers' ideal cup of tea. That stated, I have never felt more engaged or invested in not only such an expansive series of stories and happenings, but mostly the characters and the daunting and haunting twists and turns that awaited them around each and every corner. In my future, much like Roland's journey, the Dark Tower may just wait for my arrival yet again.
