Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts One and Two by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne

Still not sure who the Cursed Child is supposed to be. Albus? Scorpius? Delphi? Cedric Diggory?

As a playwright, I'm drawn to plays that belong onstage; that rely on the audience's suspension of disbelief to tell a story that can only be experienced in a theater. This play relies more on special effects (levitation! explosions! quick changes to new locations!) and really feels like it would prefer to be a movie.

Poor use of the medium aside, I knew this wouldn't be for me when a minor takes Polyjuice Potion to become Ron and kisses / comes onto Hermione in order to distract her. So many nopes.
