I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. The first half was already interesting and intense but during the second half, once people started to be more honest, connected and happy I really got hooked because the characters, thoughts and emotions were so well written. It contains so many things and I love how complex the story and the characters are. It connects so many perspectives and is very thoughtful. Even the worst characters have people that seem to like them so nothing is quite black and white - even though that difference is very important for the plot too. My review really doesn't do the book justice, just read it and don't get discouraged by all the desasters at the start.
