This book is literally a whirlwind of emotions.
Jameson has grown up to be a cold, emotionless person. After her sister refuses to help her family, Jameson takes over that responsibility but she doesn‘t know how it will change her whole life.
I didn‘t really know what to expect going into this book. I seriously love the cover. The characters all were good and all had their own appeal.
But for me the story lacked alot in the beginning of the book. I had a hard time getting into the story and I was quite confused for a while and didn‘t really know what was going on.
Halfway throught the book the pace of the story picked up slowly until it all blew up and you got to know whats really going on and whats happening with the characters. I really enjoyed that part where the story sped up.
I did enjoy having a female character be the detached one for once and needing to learn how to love and find herself and what she wants!
I really liked Meagan‘s writing but this for me wasn‘t her best work.
