Doing a reread for the third book coming out. Most of this book was infuriating with my least favorite trope, the miscommunication trope. Xaden can F right off with his whole “yOu ShOuLd HavE aSkEd.” The ending saved this book. I know this is controversial, but does anyone else ship Violet and Bodhi?
As with the first book, I do appreciate the author’s authentic portrayal of someone with hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (what Violet and the author have). I see people complain that Violet‘s physical ailments aren’t realistic, but as someone with EDS, this is completely realistic and accurate. Thanks from a fellow zebra ♥️.
