My biggest takeaway from the ending is wtf. The beginning left me utterly confused the first few chapters and I felt like I missed some information from the last book. Some characters I just don’t remember at all. I will also say that there were sections where I couldn’t figure out the passing of time because they’d sleep one night and suddenly it’s 6 weeks later or a month later. 

I appreciate that Xaden and Violet actually spoke to each other this time (mostly). I know we’re in the middle of the story but there’s so many loose ends and I have more questions than answers. I can’t imagine what could happen in two more books…
