This book.. confused me.
The "magic" system that gets build up, story points that get planted, they all fall kinda flat.
Loved the way the craft of book binding was made into a magic and wanted so much more depth.
I don't know what the fokus was supposed to be. It felt like I was pulled forward and backwards, never having hard ground.
The end comes so suddenly and not in a '*frothing at the mouth* "I need to know what's next"'-way. It just seemed unfinished.
I disliked most of the characters. It's subjective but I feel like the more you learn about the characters the worse they get.
I felt like there was a beast of a book waiting to be released but never got to be free and unfold.
