This is my first book from this author and it didn’t disappoint! I listened to the audiobook and thought it was really well done.
The Resting Place features dual timelines, a secluded setting, nice character development, and a solid mystery strung throughout the story. In one timeline, events are playing out and in the other timeline, those events are being uncovered. This is one of those books where you find out information bit by bit and I was too preoccupied taking in the information that I had no time to try to guess what was happening all along!
The Resting Place took me by surprise and I’m looking forward to reading The Lost Village by this author.
