Soooo interesting!! My first by this author! I honestly thought I had it pegged until the last few chapters!
What I would say is it was a spooky book for sure and how it all came together was interesting but if I am being really honest I was quite confused with the end.. I get it but I also really don’t..
The main characters Ethan and Tricia are very clever you fell for the stereotypical male villain vibe only to be left wondering at the end. I wasn’t sure how the pregnancy was going to play into it and I am happy that it didn’t at all!!
I feel like more could be done in the end and maybe if there was a book 2 with the husband.. I don’t know I just felt like the build up left me wanting more!
I felt bad for Luke !! His whole life and then the end result was such a shame and as for Dr. Adrienne Hale I expected more from this character and the twist with her was just so left field I couldn’t keep up and merge the 2 sides.
The cover is very very interesting! And the things you learn about each and everything character got you more and more unsure especially
Overall a good read but for me it was missing an added element I am not too sure what but for me it missed the mark a bit but I did enjoy reading it!
