So. A well deserved 5 star read to makeup for all the pain i have been through this year Ma’am.
Writing? Epic
Plot? Epic
Characters? EPIC. Unlikeable as fuck but EPIC.
Kaz is not lover material. GET OVER IT LOSERS. He CAN have charm but that doesn’t make him BEDDABLE GET OVER YOURSELVES. The guy is loaded with trauma and issues and made himself shit on purpose and hurts innocent people and dealt SO badly with the hand he was dealt himself.
Inej was the character that undergoes the most growth. Goes from liberated prostitute to a girl in service to a sort of a stockholm syndrome with Kaz. In the end she is a girl with a dream. Love her.
Nina is literally amazing. Adorable and funny and flirty and colorful. PROTECT HER PLS.
Mathias will never not be toxic in my eyes. He has a long way to go and even then will not quite be ready to be a partner… he grew on me as a person but not with his interactions with Nina. he is a shitty toxic lover.
Jesper is the first character i see with a gambling problem. We met the drunk in CCs Chain of Gold. Now we have our gambler. He was hilarious. Most people with problems hide behind a sense of humour. He was sweet and genuinely cared about his friends. I’m excited to see where his story goes.
Wylan is my child. Funny and smart and adorable and literally a baby. IF ANYONE TOUCHES HIM DISKSNSJXISKSNXSNSKOSSNNS.
