Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

5.0

I am actually surprised by how hard I fell for this book. I just wanted to read something a bit lighter after my Wells binge and man I could not stop. Also, shame on me for assuming YA will always be lighter, I really ought to break myself out of that. But the quality of Fangirl was that it never got overwhelmed by any of it's plotlines, even when they took a turn for the dramatic. It was well balanced and, for the most part, well paced. The end felt like it came about suddenly for me but that may have more to do with the fact that I really just didn't want it to end at all.
