Swift Wings Shadowed Heart by Ingrid Seymour
medium-paced
- Loveable characters? Yes
4.0
Okay, I am living for this world! Dragons, forbidden romance, elemental magic, and a fierce heroine with something to prove? Yes, please.
From the very beginning, Swift Wings Shadowed Heart pulled me in. The vibe is fast-paced but super readable, and I was immediately hooked by the tension between Rhealyn and Vaylen. Their chemistry? Whew. So much longing, banter, and emotional weight—I felt everything.
I’m loving how layered the world of Embernia is. The dragon riding, the magic system, the politics—it all feels really fresh but still gives that comforting romantasy feel I can’t get enough of.
And I can already tell this series is going to wreck me in the best way. That cliffhanger?? Yeah, I need book 2 like… yesterday.
If you’re into dragons, slow-burn tension, morally gray characters, and forbidden love that keeps you flipping pages, this one’s 100% worth picking up.
