I never saw the plot twist coming at all. So i intentionally didn’t read the book blurb because i wanted to be completely surprised. And surprised I was! I started a Complicated Kind of Love a bit irritated by the Toju character and the hatred with Ogonna, and I was blown away when I saw the book direction with Abolore the Teacher and Bioye. This book is an example of never judging a book by its cover. It was when I dug in and was towards the middle, that I started appreciating the book more.

I loved the chemistry between Bioye and Abolore. I like the Teacher-student romance play out.  🙈I liked the characters, storyline and plot twist. There were some typos here and there, but in all, Adesuwa does it again by penning down a really awesome story.
