The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels
by India Holton
This book was meh, im not sure if it was because I don’t usually read these era of fiction but there was so much going on. There were too many characters I couldn’t keep track of what was really going on and the backstory was told from different perspectives which was also all over the place, and just personally confused me.
I am positive though that many people enjoyed this very much because the premise is very fun and the characters are pretty hilarious. Even Cecilia, she is a wonderful character and is pretty believable if I were like a 17-18th century lady who was taught manners and thievery lol.
Ned/Eduard whatever the fuck his name was, was also a great character, kinda super horny, but other than that he was also pretty cool. Like I personally enjoyed the book best when it was through the POV of Cecilia and/or Ned because their characters were so delightful.
The other ladies of the society were hilarious too, but again just all over the place.
Rating: 3.5
