Sager has done it again, another 5 star read! AND we broke the mc’s love interest betraying them curse!
The mc being broke so they have no other options seems to be a reoccurring theme and while it’s not a terrible trope it would make the next book even more interesting if that wasn’t the mc’s reason for having to stay.
