Honestly, it took me til about chapter 20 to really get pulled into the story line. Overall, good read. I wish we knew more about Gerald Winthrop Culpepper and his connection when trying to piece things together early on in the book. I felt like the character was thrown at me..or maybe I was trying too hard to focus in and missed the connection. 4/5 stars for me. I look forward to reading some of Crosby's other pieces.
