i first approached this book 2 years ago, listening to it on my phone after quitting uni, depressed. i wasn't keen to come back to this novel, considering the circumstances of my first read. the atmosphere of this novel is suffocating and honestly scarier than any horror story i've read.

oh boy. this novel hits different in quarantine. when everything is uncertain and you feel like you've been manipulated to the point that you can't think. it has been hard to think recently, am i right? but can they change the way we think? can they access our mind???
can't wait to discuss this in class
