I got this after failing to enjoy The Gunslinger. In fact I didn't understand anything about it and thought some pictures might be helpful. So I enjoyed this more than the book itself but not realizing it was the 8th volume I don't think I could go back and read all the other graphic novels, it's just not good enough.
