I have been waiting and pushing off picking these Avatar comics a lot, mostly because I don't want the story of team Avatar (but mostly Zuko) to end.

This is the one that really answers all the unanswered questions at the end of season 3 (I am honestly still down for a season 4 with this plotline...), and wow. I just. Zuko.

I'm actually wearing my Zuko shirt right now in honor of him. When I picked this up at Barnes & Noble yesterday, I cried like four times on the way home just about Zuko.

Anyways, I feel like this graphic novel (and its predecessor) both capture the spirit of Avatar and the characters perfectly. I could hear the voices of the characters as I flipped through the pages.

Also, I loved the art in this. It takes the same art style from the show, but it also does a fantastic job aging the characters (except Sokka) a few years after the end of season 3.

Wonderful, wonderful. Now I'm going to use this massive copy that I picked up to add to my Zuko shrine on my bookshelf.

Have a wonderful morning
