I've watched the movie a couple of times, so I decided it was time to read the book when I found the Kindle edition on sale earlier this year.
Its a sweet short Christmas story about faith and hope, a few Americanisms in the Victorian English setting, but still an enjoyable read if you've got an hour or two to spare. Might just give the movie a re-watch now as well.
