I was actually throughly disappointed with this read. It was super hyped online and I finally decided to give it a go. The fmc was in my opinion portrayed with a childish attitude for her age, which made it hard to follow. There was very little character growth. The mmc at times I was drawn too but had many rubber-band moments where I felt the exact opposite.

The story surrounds Sienna who recently  called off her engagement after finding out her fiancé was cheating on her.

After  days of bed rotting her roommate convinced her to get out of their apartment and head to a newly opened nightclub.

This nightclub happens to be owned by a champion boxer - who also is a hitman within the mafia.

Keller, the mmc- coming from a disadvantaged background, made his way to the top from nothing.

Now a champion heavy weight boxer, nightclub owner, and mafia hitman- what else could he need?

When he unexpectedly bumps into Sienna during opening night at his club, he questions if he just watched his current reality flash before him.

Closing the book with a HEA, I did enjoy. Keller’s proposal to Sienna was actually super cute! And the baby was a sweet touch of couuuurse.

Overall- not a bad read, wouldn’t re-read.
