Thank you Wednesday Books and SMP Romance for sending my latest summer read my way!

Did yโ€™all think I forgot about this one? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Being a total mood reader, there are lots of times I start a book and put it down for a different season or vibe. ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‘๐จ๐ฒ๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฒ is such a fun, light read! For me, that means putting it aside until the summer. And Iโ€™m SO glad I picked it back up! โ˜€๏ธ

Read if you ๐Ÿฉท:

โ€ข ๐Ÿ‘‘ Surprise Royalty
โ€ข ๐Ÿฉต Falling for the etiquette teacher
โ€ข ๐ŸŒˆ LGTBQIA+ representation
โ€ข ๐ŸŽ๏ธ Having no mercy when playing Mario Kart

Jamie Johnson never expected to be royalty, let alone the long-lost heir to Mitanor, a sunny southern European kingdom! Whisked away to his fatherโ€™s palace for the summer, heโ€™s thrown into a crash course on royal life with the help of Erik, a stoic northern prince. Between etiquette lessons and royal traditions, sparks fly! But with crowns and countries in the mix, love might be the riskiest rule to break.

This book felt like the perfect mesh between โ€œThe Princess Diariesโ€ and โ€œRed, White & Royal Blueโ€! As a fan of both, I was more than happy to be engrossed in a lighthearted romance.๐Ÿ’• There are a few conflicts where itโ€™s clear the story is for younger audiences, but I found the miscommunication to be at a lower level than most romances, so Jamie and Erikโ€™s story gets extra points in that regard.๐Ÿ…

If youโ€™re looking for a sunny, royal romance filled with regal politics, supportive coparents, and secret crushes, be sure to pick up a copy of ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‘๐จ๐ฒ๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฒ at your favorite local bookstore! ๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿฉต
