A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

This book begins with Feyre back in the Spring Court. She is trying to figure out the plans of the king of Hybern.
I loved getting to see inside more of the Courts and meeting the various High Lords while they are trying to unify against Hybern. It really helps to bring the world more together for me.

I loved all of the various battle scenes. I loved seeing everything coming together. The thing that mostly bothers me about this book is we know Feyre is this Fae with powers from all of the High Lords. I wish we got to see her use those powers more during some of the more major battles. I feel like she was standing on the “sidelines” through some of the important battles.

The main battle against Hybern was soul shattering “page 666” I think I had a panic attack, a mental breakdown. Yes, I am slightly exaggerating but I did start sobbing and I actually had to set the book down I was so shaken. I love when books can get that kind of emotion out of me.

It was truly an amazing series to read and I can’t wait for future installments and letting some of the side characters take the spotlight! I highly recommend everyone read this book!
