I feel like I just left two friends outside of an Arby's.
I haven't been this sucked into a book in a while; I wanted to eat, sleep, and breathe this one. I am notoriously a slow reader - partly because I juggle books, hopping back and forth between them. This last week, however, I was completely immersed in this one and I know I am going to miss these characters.
I did just learn (yesterday, in fact) that this is going to be an Apple TV show, so that's sort of exciting - I am a little apprehensive, because they could totally mess it up. But it could also be great and extend the lives of these characters beyond this exhilarating, hilarious, wonderful book. A book I learned so much from (I highlighted SO many passages) - not the least of which was the ins and outs of OnlyFans.
This book looks deceptively like a fluffy, light read - and it certainly has lighter moments. But it's also so wise, heartfelt, insightful. I haven't fully processed so I am stumbling over my words but eventually I will piece together a more succinct bout of gushing. I already know this is going to be one of my top reads of the year - I can't imagine it getting surpassed by anything else, but we will see.
I should say: this book is not going to be for everyone. But for the people who will feel seen by this book, I hope you find it.

Moderate: Adult/minor relationship
It's not really an adult/minor relationship but there is a huge age gap - a 19 year old and her older, married professor have a brief affair.
