The Thirteen Problems by Agatha Christie

5.0

After watching the first series of Miss Marple films, it was an urgent priority to see the origins of this unassuming and yet brilliant old lady.

This collection of short stories did not disappoint. The framing was amusing by itself, Miss Marple not even intended to be a part of the mystery club, only to become the best sleuth of the lot.

Now that I’ve seen her humble beginnings, I’m very excited to see how Miss Marple can thrive with the extra breathing room afforded by a full length novel.
