Oh god, the tiny suicidal violin player in my head was at it again so I did what I had to do... I threw this damn book across the room and put him out of his misery!
This is the second and LAST book I will ever read of Khaled Hosseini. The guy is more Eeyore than Eeyore! Everything that can go wrong does and then gets even worse. This book, like The Kite Runner, is ridiculously depressing. I don't think there has ever been a more overrated author.
