Scandalous Women
by Gill Paul
I was in 10th grade when Valley of the Dolls was released. My Mom bought it and when she finished it, I borrowed her copy. She never censored my reading and I continue to read over 400 books a year.
I found a few errors in the book, as I personally knew Carson didn't go to Burbank until the early 70's but overall, this was more "social studies" rather than historical fiction and I absolutely loved it as I do all of her books!
